Job Title: Legal Secretary
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys by managing schedules, appointments, and communications.
- Prepare, file, and review legal documents.
- Conduct legal research to assist in case preparation.
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence with precision.
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits as required.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines and filing requirements.
Education and Experience Information:
- At least three years of litigation experience as a legal secretary.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with Insurance law or public entity defense is helpful but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in document review processes and legal research techniques.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary Information:
- Pay: $54, - $77, per year
