Job Summary:

Join our established real estate law firm in Irvine, CA as a Trial Attorney. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to handle unlawful detainer actions in California state courts on behalf of our clients. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

- Litigate unlawful detainer actions in California state courts on behalf of property owners and managers
- Defend and conduct depositions
- Provide legal advice to clients through phone consultations
- Respond to client questions and concerns
- Work with legal staff to prepare pre-trial motions, pleadings, and discovery documents

Qualifications:

- . and active California Bar license
- 2+ years of trial experience, preferably jury trial experience
- Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to spend multiple days per week in court

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of unlawful detainer law
- Contacts and relationships within the rental housing industry
- Federal Court (CA Central) admission and knowledge of Bankruptcy law

Schedule:

This is a full-time, exempt position with a schedule of 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am-5:00pm Friday. We currently offer a hybrid in-office remote work model for select positions within the firm.
