**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a prestigious law firm with over 30 practice groups and 300 attorneys, is seeking a full-time Information Governance Records Analyst for their Melville, New York office. This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $72,000, negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate physical file check-ins and check-outs throughout the office
- Assist with file maintenance and closing processes
- Conduct periodic file inventories
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of records metadata in iCompli RIM system
- Identify and document business process workflows
- Manage Information Governance projects and report progress to Information Governance Manager
- Assist with digitization projects and defensible disposition of records
- Develop relationships with administrative personnel and legal professionals to ensure compliance with department objectives
- Understand and communicate the firm's records and information governance policies and procedures
- Distinguish and appraise various types of legal and administrative records
- Assist with receipt, review, and migration of physical and electronic records
- Act as subject matter expert for offsite storage locations
- Provide additional support for the Information Governance Department as needed

Requirements:
- Ability to travel to Garden City and New York City office locations
- Ability to lift standard file boxes weighing up to 40 pounds
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple assignments accurately and in a timely manner
- Willingness to learn and adapt to firm's needs
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong typing and transcription experience
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or related field preferred
- Background in records and/or law firm experience preferred
