Job Title: Immigration Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clients.
- Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings at the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
- Manage a workload of cases effectively.
- Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at centers.
- Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
- Review immigration applications/packets and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Present to and collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.
- Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations to determine necessary strategies.
- Develop strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony.
- Provide legal analysis for clients to ascertain any possible case benefits.
- Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.
Education and Experience Information:
- At least 1 to 4 years of experience in Immigration Law is required.
- The position requires a team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and collaborating with fellow associates.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
- High-caliber interpersonal skills are essential.
- A proven record of moving legal cases forward and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is necessary.
- Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 USD.
