Directly handle D&O and other Financial Lines claims, including evaluating coverage, drafting coverage correspondence, conducting investigations, managing defense counsel and legal spend, assessing liability and financial exposure, and negotiating resolutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, insureds, and outside counsel.
Utilize in-depth understanding of policy language and coverage to effectively evaluate and manage claims.
Stay current on industry trends, laws, and regulations related to FLPL claims.
Provide training and guidance to team members on FLPL claims handling.
Represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, and other ADR proceedings.
Develop and implement strategies for cost-effective and good faith resolution of claims.
Effectively manage and prioritize a large caseload of FLPL claims.
Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to claims handling.
