The Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney to join our Supreme Court & Appellate practice. This is a regular full-time position that can be located in any of our US offices, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Washington, DC. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile and complex appeals in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of the appellate process, including legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
- Work on a variety of cases, including bet-the-company and industry-changing appeals
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and professionals
- Provide support for "appellate eyes at trial" practice, focusing on key motions and issue preservation at the trial court level
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Experience as a judicial clerk, preferably for a federal or state appellate court
- Completion of a JD from an accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
- Highly motivated and proactive
