Summer internships are available for undergraduate and law students from June to August at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. This unpaid program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of investigative and legal areas related to criminal law. The internship is open to students during their Fall or Spring semesters or during their Summer break.
Interns will be assigned to one of the Division's Bureaus or supporting Units and Offices and will be supervised by a Detective or Deputy Attorney General. The overall supervision of the program will be under an Assistant Attorney General. This internship program provides a unique opportunity for students to enhance their studies in Criminal Justice or related fields by gaining practical experience and exposure to real cases and investigations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with investigations and prosecutions of criminal law violations
- Conduct legal research and writing assignments
- Attend court appearances and observe legal proceedings
- Participate in the Summer Intern Brown Bag Lunch Program
- Work closely with Detectives and Deputy Attorneys General
Requirements:

- Excellent legal research and writing skills (for law students)
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Interest in criminal law and related fields
- Ability to submit required documents and materials via email
