Job Description:

We are currently seeking a mid-level paralegal with 2+ years of experience to join our growing team. The paralegal will assist a team of attorneys in both in-suit and pre-suit litigation matters. Other positions may be available, please check our LinkedIn for other postings.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and attendance at trial
- Schedule hearings, mediations, phone conferences, and other meetings
- Collaborate with other paralegals to complete client projects
- Prepare various motions, pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence for clients and opposing counsel
- Process pleadings, motions, and correspondence through e-service and physical filing
- Prepare materials to support pleadings, motions, depositions, and other events
- Capture, enter, and bill time in accordance with client guidelines and firm's monthly minimum billing requirement
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and counsel in a team environment

Qualifications:

- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Florida Civil Rule of Procedures
- Basic insurance defense litigation experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in writing and research

Minimum Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and/or other time and document management software
- Experience with e-filing, billing, calendaring, and all other essential paralegal skills
