LLP is currently seeking a Litigation Docket Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. As a Litigation Docket Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our master calendar of all court deadlines and ensuring that our attorneys and staff are aware of upcoming events. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain master calendar of all court deadlines
- Calendar new events daily
- Determine court dates by reviewing relevant documents
- Produce calendar reports weekly and as requested to secretaries, paralegals, and attorneys
- Send monthly calendar reports to upper management
- Produce client or case specific calendar reports upon request
- Post updates on the Firm's portal
- Respond to calendaring questions from attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries
- Prepare custom calendars for timekeepers upon request
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritize work efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of State and Federal court rules
- Ability to read through Court Orders to determine calendarable dates
- Working knowledge of CompuLaw Vision or similar calendar/docket software
- A four-year degree or, a two-year degree plus a paralegal certificate from an ABA qualified program is preferred. Work experience in lieu of degree is also acceptable.
- Minimum three years of docketing, relevant legal support, or equivalent experience in a law firm or legal services environment is required. Large law firm experience is preferred.
Salary Information:
- Annualized good faith base salary range: $65,063 - $97,594 per year.
- Actual salary rate offered will depend on factors such as years of relevant experience, education, certifications, and overall qualifications.
