Deposition/Workers Compensation Paralegal The candidate will respond to client inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with firm policies. Organize and maintain documents in the physical file and in the firm's document management software. Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure. Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently, with minimal supervision. Should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Should have the ability to handle pressure, interruptions, and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines; proficient in drafting documents accurately and clearly including subpoenas, correspondences, etc. Should have knowledge of billing; knowledge of legal documents and terminology as it relates to Workers compensation. Should have an associate's degree or higher; exceptional organization skills; excellent writing and telephone communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload; ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; knowledge of legal terminology and principles; ability to analyze legal documents and ensure accuracy.
