Law firm Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney to join their team in Washington, DC. The Pre-Suit Attorney will be responsible for handling all pre-litigation work, including drafting and filing documents, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing a team of 6-10 Case Managers. They will primarily focus on personal injury cases, with a specific emphasis on automotive cases. The ideal candidate will have excellent client service and communication skills, as well as strong leadership abilities. They must also have a law degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.

Responsibilities:

- Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
- Guide clients through the case process
- Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
- Manage the release approval process
- Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
- Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily automotive
- Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
- EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements

Requirements:

- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the State Bar Association
- 2-5 years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

The Pre-Suit Attorney will report to the Senior Attorney Director - Legal Services and will work with a team of dedicated professionals to achieve the firm's mission of fighting for the people. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
