Senior Counsel, Ad Sales Business & Legal Affairs - New York, NY

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Corporation is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their dynamic in-house business and legal affairs team in New York City. This role will support sales and revenue verticals across the entire **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. portfolio, including Entertainment, Sports, News, and Tubi. The Senior Counsel will report to the Senior Vice President of Ad Sales Business & Legal Affairs and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of creators and content while building an organization that thrives on creativity, operational expertise, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate and draft legal agreements related to linear TV media buys, digital and programmatic sales, business development, ad technology, research, brand partnerships, integrated marketing, and custom content production
- Advise business, creative, and technology teams on legal issues and risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, other **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. legal teams, and outside counsel to ensure desired deal outcomes and business objectives
- Develop contract standards and implement best practice/compliance protocols for consistency across sales teams and internal groups
- Supervise and manage junior department staff to maximize department efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

- JD from an ABA-accredited . law school
- Currently admitted to State Bar of CA or NY or eligibility for Registered In-House Counsel in New York
- 7-10 years of relevant experience at a law firm, ad agency, or media company
- Strong understanding of the TV advertising industry and digital media ecosystem, including programmatic advertising and emerging ad technology
- Ability to build strong relationships with business, creative, and technology teams and balance both legal and non-legal considerations when advising on strategic options and risk analysis
- Proven negotiation, drafting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Willingness to work in person in New York, NY

Salary and Benefits:

The pay range for this role is $161,, annually, with the final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, as well as various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Union represented employees will receive benefits in accordance with their collective bargaining agreement.
