This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $95,000 per year, plus commission. As an Associate Attorney at our firm, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, prepare and draft legal documents, conduct research, and represent clients in legal proceedings. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in a law firm environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage a heavy caseload. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a license with the State Bar of Michigan are also required for this position.

Lawyer Duties and Responsibilities:

- Consult with clients on legal best practices.
- Prepare case file documents.
- Work with team to compile comprehensive briefs.
- Prepare discovery documents and define best course of action.
- Adhere to a consistent schedule of hearings, court appearances, and case related conferences.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings such as conferences and trials.
- Facilitate depositions of experts and case witnesses.
- Conduct research and anticipate legal case law.

Lawyer Requirements and Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Professional attitude and strong personal ethics.
- 1-3 years of experience in a law firm environment.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
- Licensed with the State Bar of Michigan.
