Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in a variety of commercial transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, employment law, commercial real estate, commercial transactions and intellectual property.
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements in a wide array of fields, including intellectual property, entertainment and sports, construction, health and digital.
Prepare corporate governance documents for both profit and nonprofit entities.
File trademarks and copyrights and enforce those rights.
Conduct complex legal research and analysis into nuanced areas of law as well as industry regulations and practices.
Provide counsel to clients on transactional matters.
Attend in-person meetings and perform the work of an in-person commercial legal practice as defined by the needs of our clients and law firm.
Collaborate with managing attorney and other senior attorneys for training and mentorship.
Take on early responsibilities and challenging tasks to accelerate professional development.
Handle complex commercial litigation and attorney ethics defense, if needed.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through strong oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

JD degree from an ABA accredited law school.
Admission to the New Jersey bar (and willingness to seek admission to other states).
Minimum of 2 years of relevant transactional experience.
Outstanding academic credentials.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Salary: $120,000 to $165,000 per year
