Job Description:
As a litigation attorney with our firm, you will manage cases from start to finish, conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and work directly with clients to develop strategies and provide guidance. You will have the opportunity to work on high-stakes business disputes and gain valuable courtroom and deposition experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex litigation cases, including discovery, motions, and trial/arbitration.
Handle business-related disputes, such as breach of contract and partnership disputes.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare persuasive motions.
Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and argue motions in court.
Collaborate with our legal team to strengthen arguments and prepare for trial.
Provide practical legal guidance to clients.
Qualifications:
2+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on business/commercial disputes.
Strong courtroom advocacy and deposition skills.
Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
Active California Bar license (or eligibility for reciprocity).
