Paralegal Duties: File Motions for Relief. Plan Review of Chapter 13. In-house filing of Proofs of Claim and Amended Proof of Claim. File Objections, Responses to Objections, Miscellaneous Motions, and Payment Change Letters. Order Title Exams via Closing Link. Research Debtor Disputes. Prepare and file Consent Orders, No Opposition Orders, Orders Approving Loan Modifications, etc. Enter Court Hearing results into LPS same day. Monitor defaults for Cure. Prepare payment histories. Determine the outcome of Cash emails. Maintain responsibility for billing any and all appropriate actions taken by our office based upon the client's fee schedule. Monitor ECF Mailbox daily. Review requests and forward appropriate referrals to Litigation for Motions for Relief, Qualified Written Responses, Adversary Proceedings, etc. Review and interpret client systems and update data per individual clients requests. Monitor the daily reports which are generated from our system. Participate in company-sponsored educational seminars. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree is desired. Must have 2+ years of experience in the bankruptcy arena. Proven track record of dependability and punctuality required. Must possess a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Chapters 7, 11, and 13 Bankruptcies. Must be proficient with numbers and basic accounting. Usage of LPS is required; must be familiar with all Facets of LPS, including LPS Intercoms, LPS Reports, and LPS/ Client Directives. Pro Law and Closing Link experience is a plus. Must be knowledgeable of bankruptcy law and foreclosure proceedings. Must be proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. Must possess strong communications skills. Must provide excellent customer service. Must be a team player. Must be extremely organized and be able to multi-task.
