Are you an experienced Land Use Consultant looking for a new opportunity? Look no further than ****, Texas' largest law firm. We are currently seeking a full-time Land Use Consultant to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and clients on a variety of development projects, making a significant impact on the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys, clients, and co-consultants on development projects
- Draft and revise documents related to real estate and easements
- Prepare applications and supporting documentation for land use projects
- Manage project teams and guide them through the zoning and entitlement process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in preparing and filing project applications and obtaining permits in local and state jurisdictions
- Knowledge of local Comprehensive/Master Plans, Zoning Ordinance code sections, and environmental/engineering documents
- Excellent communication skills with clients, co-consultants, and government officials
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite and public speaking
- Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Ability to think critically and take initiative
- Comfortable handling confidential information
Education and Certifications:

- Preferred certifications: AICP, LEED, LS, PE
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working for a City or County in Texas or in a law firm supporting a Land Use or Real Estate practice group
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with occasional travel for external meetings
