The Law Firm of Motley Rice is currently seeking experienced professionals for the role of Administrative Legal Assistant. This is a non-exempt position and will report to attorneys and paralegals in various departments. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the nation's largest plaintiffs' litigation firms, advocating for the rights of workers, families, consumers, and investors. The firm is known for its leadership in some of the most significant cases in . courts and specializes in a variety of practice areas. Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Experience:
- required
- 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a legal setting

Responsibilities:
- Assist paralegals and attorneys in representing clients effectively and efficiently
- Type memos, notes, and documents, and send out necessary correspondence
- Review, sort, and date mail and maintain files
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Prepare for and set up meetings, including taking minutes and preparing reports
- Conduct research and communicate with co-counsel, paralegals, and other legal staff
- Complete routine office correspondence, forms, and documents
- Maintain records and files

Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to proofread for errors
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours: This position may require more than 40 hours per week and may involve travel.

Working Conditions: The work is performed in a normal office environment with heating and air conditioning. Overtime may be required to perform essential job duties.
