KPMG, one of the top tax firms in the world, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our International Tax practice. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic team, working with high-profile clients and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to provide innovative tax solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Direct multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as location and operations, entity choice, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization, while considering tax risk profile, global effective tax rate, and cash posture.
- Advise clients on tax planning decisions and anticipate potential short and long-term consequences at a global level, taking into account tax risk profile, global effective tax rate, and cash posture.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Mergers & Acquisition Tax to structure tax aspects of multinational private equity and strategic mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs.
- Assist with tax provision preparation for financial statements and review compliance work product.
- Provide guidance to clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities.
- Work with alternative investment companies, specifically in the international tax space, at all stages of the investment life cycle for both asset managers and portfolio companies.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of eight years' recent experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or foreign equivalent, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing.
- Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax law provisions.
- Excellent research and writing skills, with proficiency in Excel modeling and oral communication.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, lead client service teams, and supervise and develop new and experienced staff professionals.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships and expanding the firm's presence in local and global markets.
