The candidate acts as counsel for the State of New Hampshire in criminal matters. Works closely with Victim/Witness Coordinators to ensure that all witnesses/victims are properly informed, prepared and supported throughout the prosecution process. Drafts indictments, complaints and pleadings. Researches pertinent case law, decisions and legislation. Presents investigations and cases to the Grand Jury. Conducts Bench trials, Jury trials and all required hearings related to the assigned caseload. Should have a . degree from an accredited law school. Should preferably have 3 years of experience in criminal prosecution. Must be admitted into the New Hampshire Bar Association.
