The law firm of Cole, Scott & Kissane is seeking a General Liability Attorney to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits. As part of our General Liability practice group, you will have the opportunity to defend businesses and individuals in a variety of legal matters, including premises liability, products liability, and torts. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated attorney who is ready to take on challenging cases and provide exceptional legal counsel to our clients.

Job Title: General Liability Attorney
Department: General Liability Practice Group
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Experience: Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required
Salary: Competitive compensation with monthly revenue-based bonus potential and end-of-year bonus

Responsibilities:

- Conduct depositions and defend depositions
- Draft and argue dispositive motions
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
- Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
- Prepare pleadings and correspondence
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

Qualifications:

- Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
