Responsibilities:
- Monitor and investigate networked systems, cloud environments, and SaaS technologies for suspicious activity
- Audit and assess data-security systems
- Automate tasks using Python or PowerShell
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scanning
- Stay up to date with the latest threats and technologies
- Collaborate with IT staff to integrate security measures into existing infrastructure

Essential Functions:
- Configure, respond to, and create security alerts
- Communicate with stakeholders about risk and threats
- Design and manage security hardware and software systems
- Maintain documentation of security processes and procedures

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT and security roles
- Familiarity with data loss prevention and forensic investigations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity preferred

Certifications:
- Security +, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH, GCIH, or GSEC a plus

Work Environment:
- Remote/hybrid work arrangement
- Occasional in-office requirements
- Overtime may be required

Travel Requirements:
- Up to 10%

Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM-3:30 AM (Pacific Time)
