Summary:
Law firm is seeking an experienced Office Manager for their Newport Beach location. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $118, - $178,. The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day administrative functions, including human resources, budget management, facilities management, and staff oversight. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of labor and employment laws, accounting processes, and industry trends. A Bachelor's degree is required for this exempt management position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative functions and contribute to cost-effective office management
- Manage human resources duties, including recruiting, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations
- Manage budget input and variance accountability, accounts payable, and accounting report review and analysis
- Coordinate with practice groups and firm management for office support and best practices
- Handle facilities management, including overseeing office space, improvements, moves, and liaison with building management
- Supervise support staff and collaborate with firm-wide administration and management teams
- Coordinate with firm-wide procurement efforts for supplies, equipment, and other purchases
- Manage special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal labor and employment laws and policies
- Experience with conflict management techniques
- Familiarity with general accounting processes and industry trends
- Bachelor's degree
