A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its team in Conshohocken, PA. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, commercial, and labor law, providing legal counsel and representation for clients in the construction industry. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of legal matters, including contract negotiation, legal research, and litigation.

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on matters related to construction, commercial, and labor law.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for clients, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, including arbitration, mediation, and court hearings.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support client matters and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and stakeholders to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Stay current with changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring clients are informed and protected.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction, commercial, and labor law.
  • Experience in providing legal counsel and representation, with a focus on contract law and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex legal matters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise legal documents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
  • Experience in the construction industry or a related field is highly preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligibility to waive in.

  • Strong research and analytical skills to handle complex legal issues.
