Attorney - Business Development The candidate will Identify new business opportunities and targets, Meet with potential referral sources through bar events, lunches, and social gatherings. Assist with digital marketing strategy as needed including creating blog articles. Promote the firm and attorneys locally and nationally. Attend networking events and secure speaking opportunities. Assist in the development and production of client newsletters or other marketing materials. Maintain records of all marketing activities using the Contact Manager in CRM. Track the sales success of each lead to determine the progress of each client and your closing ratio. Provide additional marketing and business development support as needed. Internal public relations promoting wins of the firm.

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Should have 2 years experience in business development, sales, and/or client development. Experience in law firm business development or sales either growing business for a law firm or selling to law firms. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Outgoing / Energetic / Enthusiastic Ability to walk into a room full of strangers and make ten connections in the first two hours. Strong organizational skills. Strong understanding of technology and ability to adapt to new processes, Ability to research, understand and execute on various ethical rules regarding referrals throughout the United States. Willingness to meet deadlines, review successes and failures based on objective metrics and hold themselves to a high standard. Understanding of the needs and expectations of law firm clients.
