The Role:
As a Benefits Associate Attorney, you will handle complex and challenging ERISA work, including retirement plans, health and welfare plans, Taft-Hartley benefit plans, and executive compensation. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and manage your own caseload. Strong communication, research, and writing skills are essential, as well as the ability to effectively manage and communicate with clients on a regular basis.

Location:
This position can be based in any of our offices in Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; Akron, Columbus, or Toledo, Ohio; Minneapolis, Minnesota; or Sarasota or Tampa, Florida.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school, an active Florida bar license, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in ERISA law. Strong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems, are also required. Additionally, we are looking for candidates with superior research skills, project management abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality is a must.

Physical Requirements:
This position may require sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds. Occasional bending and stooping may also be necessary.
