Summary:

Law firm seeking a remote Conflicts Attorney with a JD and active law license to manage all aspects of new business intake, including conflict checking and resolution. The position offers a base salary of $125,000 to $200,000 in Washington, . and requires at least two years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney or similar role. This role reports to the General Counsel and will work with a team of conflicts staff and Professional Responsibility Attorneys.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage all new business intake details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to firm policies and procedures
- Conduct conflict of interest searches and assist attorneys with clearance of conflicts
- Draft engagement letters and coordinate with attorneys for client execution
- Coordinate with Firm Managing Partner and/or Office Managing Partners for approval of business terms
- Review and implement Outside Counsel Guidelines
- Supervise conflicts staff
- Assist with lateral hiring process and onboarding of new matters for lateral hires
- Handle other projects and special requests as needed

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (JD) and active law license in the United States
- Minimum of two years experience as a Conflicts Attorney or comparable role
- Strong understanding of legal relationships and risk management
- Knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct
- Experience with database review and searching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and issue-tracking/follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Remote work option available

Salary:

Base salary for this position in Washington, . is $125,000 to $200,000, commensurate with experience.
