The Corporate Counsel for AWS Products will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance for Amazon Web Services (AWS), a rapidly growing business within . This role will involve working directly with business teams to advise on legal risks, regulatory compliance, and business strategy for AWS's innovative cloud services.

The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and at least 5 years of legal experience. They should also have experience with technology, IP licensing, data privacy, cloud computing, or enterprise software systems. A combination of law firm and in-house experience is preferred. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects are also important for this role.

As a Corporate Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including privacy, security, marketing, and public policy teams. You will also be responsible for developing strategies for handling legal issues in a creative and business-centric manner, while also building processes to address risk and allow for quick innovation and scaling within the business.

This position offers a competitive salary, with a range of $138,500/year to $229,000/year, based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

- Provide legal support and guidance for AWS's storage, streaming, and messaging services.
- Advise business teams on legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound and practical business judgment.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and company policies.

Salary Information:

- Base pay ranges from $138,500/year to $229,000/year, based on factors such as market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
