As a Public Policy Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and work experience while making meaningful contributions to our firm and future employers.

Our Public Policy Interns play a vital role in this mission by monitoring and analyzing pending legislation and public policy initiatives, conducting research, and providing policy analysis and support to our policy advisors.

As a Public Policy Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

- Work closely with our Public Policy practice groups
- Attend congressional hearings, meetings, and training sessions
- Develop policy fact sheets and track federal legislation
- Conduct research for prospective clients
- Write and edit reports on various policy topics
- Gain hands-on experience in government relations, lobbying, and regulatory affairs

This is a 3-day per week, paid, in-person internship program that is only available through our Public Policy Department. The internship will begin in mid-May 2025 and end on August 1, 2025. This is a fast-paced and writing intensive internship, so we are looking for highly organized, self-motivated candidates with strong communication skills. Previous government related internship experience is preferred.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must be current juniors or seniors in their undergraduate education and able to work part-time (approximately 23-25 hours per week) in our Washington DC office. The hourly wage for this position is per hour and it is not eligible for firm-sponsored medical benefits.
