Paralegal The candidate will be primarily responsible for administering and maintaining multiple client trusts including the distribution of trust funds upon request, keeping accurate and concise records of how funds were obtained and distributed and verifying the accuracy of the trusts' balances. Will prepare probate court documents such as petitions, orders, promissory notes, accounting and reports. Will draft wills and codicils and prepare for the execution of documents. Responsible for overseeing title transfers of property and monitoring estates and trusts. Assist in the preparation of legal and estate planning and related documents, as well as the administration of decedent's estates and trusts. Work requires extensive contact with clients, banks, government agencies, etc. both verbal and written. Should have a Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Should have 3+ years experience as a paralegal in estate planning and/or trust administration. Should have excellent math skills. Good written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience with preparing tax returns and PowerPoint flowcharts are preferred. Large firm experience is a plus.
