The Los Angeles Superior Court (LASC) offers an exciting opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career as a paralegal. Our internship program provides hands-on experience in various divisions of the Court, including Civil, Criminal, and specialized programs such as the Family Law Facilitator's Office and Self-Help Centers.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with the preparation of legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues. This program also offers valuable benefits such as exposure to different areas of law, networking opportunities, and an overview of Court procedures and procedures.

Prerequisite:
To be eligible for this internship, interns must have completed prerequisite courses in Civil Litigation and/or Family Law. This ensures that interns have a strong foundation and understanding of the legal system before joining the program.

Hourly Requirements:
We require interns to commit to at least one semester and work a minimum of 12 hours per week. This allows for a valuable learning experience and provides interns with a realistic view of the demands of a paralegal career.
