Law Firm Seeks Patent Support Specialist for Patent Support Team

The Patent Support Specialist role at MoFo is open to candidates with a minimum of one year of patent experience. This position also requires at least one year of experience in IDS preparation and filing.

Office Location Flexible - Work in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Boston, New York or Washington, .

Responsibilities:

- Provide organizational and substantive support for assigned clients
- Manage portfolio and deadlines for assigned clients
- Prepare Information Disclosure Statements and reference checks
- File with the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
- Monitor and expedite workflow for assigned clients

Client Service:

- Promote and model the Firm's Client Service Principles
- Provide exemplary client service to internal and external clients
- Proactively promote client service throughout the department and among teams

Workflow Management and Quality Control:

- Review dockets and correspondence with scrupulous attention to detail
- Prioritize work and meet deadlines under pressure
- Maintain accurate and detailed information in data management software
- Utilize knowledge of patent practice and adhere to USPTO procedures and firm policies

Professional Development:

- Stay current in industry trends related to patent prosecution
- Expand knowledge of procedures, laws, and nuances related to docketing
- Utilize the most current technology to improve teamwork, client service, and efficiency

Confidentiality:

- Adhere to the Firm's Confidentiality Policy
- Safeguard confidential and personal information
- Report any suspected breaches immediately

- New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto: $80K to $100K
- Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Washington, .: $76K to $95K
- Denver: $71K to $89K
