This role will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with federal and state legal requirements related to Medicare compliance and HPMS/CMS regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and monitor cross-functional projects implemented by management
• Develop strategic relationships to influence public policy concerning federal managed care regulations and initiatives
• Represent senior management at various committees, meetings, and seminars
• Communicate with CMS to ensure timely completion of requirements and expectations
• Ensure compliance of all Medicare and Medicaid products and services with program regulations, insurance regulations, and business entity requirements
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and processes to comply with federal program regulations and state regulations
• Work with operational departments to ensure compliance with state regulatory standards and provide guidance on regulatory and contract language
• Oversee and implement various aspects of the Medicare Compliance program
• Identify and analyze the impact of CMS and Medicare regulatory issues and advise management on potential impact
• Report all Medicare and MMP risks in accordance with company policies
• Provide required training on ethics, compliance, risk management, fraud, waste, and abuse, privacy, and security to employees and contracted staff
• Partner with departments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of compliance experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
• 5+ years of experience in Medicare and/or Managed Care
• 1+ years of experience overseeing contract requirements
• 1+ years of interaction and communication with federal and state regulatory agencies preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare, CMS regulations, and software application tools preferred
Salary Information:
• Pay range: $142, - $263, per year
