Law Firm Seeks Immigration Associate in Multiple Locations

The law firm, known for its high-quality work and prestigious reputation, is seeking an Immigration Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join their Immigration Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge immigration matters with increased client contact, while also having the chance to collaborate with attorneys at all levels within the Labor, Employment, Benefits, & Immigration Section of the firm.

Responsibilities of Immigration Associate:

- Handling a diverse caseload of immigration matters, including non-immigrant visa applications, employment-based and family-based green card processes, naturalization applications, waivers of inadmissibility, and I-9 compliance.
- Conducting legal research to provide accurate advice to clients.
- Collaborating with other attorneys, shareholders, paralegals, and administrative personnel on complex immigration matters.
- Drafting legal documents such as forms, letters, petition packages, and correspondence.
- Taking ownership of cases from beginning to end with limited supervision.
- Contributing to case strategy and analysis with creative and innovative thinking.
- Representing clients in interviews and other proceedings.
- Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other involved parties.
- Staying updated on changes in immigration laws and policies.
- Assisting in business development efforts and networking activities.
- Participating in training programs and professional development opportunities.
- Upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Accurately tracking time spent on each project.

Requirements for Immigration Associate Position:

- 4-6 years of experience in immigration law and labor and employment law.
- Excellent knowledge of immigration law and practice.
- Strong academic credentials and research skills.
- Previous experience with employment-based immigration, both temporary visas and permanent residence.
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload and work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience with drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
