- Minimal domestic travel may be required (up to 10%)

Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in Tax/Employee Benefits/Trusts & Estates practice group
- Draft and refine essential legal documents such as trusts, wills, and powers of attorney
- Engage with clients, trustees, and family members
- Handle post-mortem real estate filings, trustee notifications, and estate tax returns
- Maintain organized and accessible client files
- Collaborate with attorneys, colleagues, clients, and the court
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience in trust and estates law
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
- ABA-approved paralegal certification or equivalent required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office, NetDocs, and BNA Forms preferred
- Ability to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed

- Possess excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
Computer/Software Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Zoom, and Teams
- Experience with NetDocs or other document management system is preferred, as is experience with BNA Forms
- Must be able to quickly learn new skills and systems
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, rest remote)
- Overtime may be required as job duties demand
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal domestic travel may be required to other SMRH offices and trials, up to 10%
