Associate Attorney - Asbestos Litigation
Experience Information:
- Experience in asbestos litigation preferred, but not required
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California
- Experience in conducting depositions and appearing in court
- Strong writing skills and ability to research and understand complex legal issues
- Compassion for helping clients suffering from terminal illnesses
- Ability to establish a knowledge base of products and exposures related to asbestos cases
Position Duties and Responsibilities:

H2: Represent Clients Injured by Asbestos
- Conduct client and witness interviews
- Work up assigned asbestos disease cases
- Depose witnesses and clients
- Draft and review legal documents
- Appear in court as needed
H2: Assist Supervising Attorney
- Conduct research and analysis of legal issues
- Draft and review discovery, motions, and pleadings
- Prepare for and attend hearings and trials
H2: Collaborate with Team

- Attend meetings and participate in case strategy discussions
H2: Travel
- Occasional travel may be required for depositions, hearings, and trials
H2: Client Advocacy
- Provide compassionate and effective representation for clients suffering from asbestos-related illnesses

- Stay updated on legal developments and changes in asbestos litigation
- Attend continuing education courses and seminars
Position Requirements:
