First Party Property Litigation Attorney The candidate should have Florida barred and currently be in good standing with 3+ years of experience. Expert in insurance first-party property claims litigation and claim evaluation is required. Experience and passion in preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, and motions with an eye toward trial are a must. Experience preparing for, taking, and defending depositions is a must. Trial Experience is required. Should have the ability to interact with attorneys, support staff, opposing counsel, court personnel, and clients in a professional, courteous manner. Experience managing an assigned caseload with the ability to prioritize, delegate when necessary, and adhere to deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research, and writing skills are required. Must have knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and be technologically comfortable using case management software and effectively utilize available technology and automation. Personable, self-starter who is detail and goal-oriented. Diligent with an internal drive and commitment to continuously deliver an exceptional work product is thinker with decisive judgment.
