The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and current salary of the successful candidate, and will be based on the budget of the hiring unit.

Job Summary
- Responsible for providing governance and oversight for affiliated organizations
- Coordinate with other affiliates, the Institute, and the University System of Georgia
- Manage board meetings and escalate concerns to Institute leadership
- Set employee goals, assess performance, and make pay recommendations
- Interact with affiliated organizations, senior leadership, and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Provide legal and compliance advice to stakeholders
- Review and identify changes to laws and regulations affecting the Institute
- Analyze and summarize legal documents and agreements
- Collaborate with the Office of the General Counsel on projects
- Conduct legal research and draft documents
- Perform due diligence and other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active member in good standing of a US State bar
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years of related experience
- Strong professionalism, communication, adaptability, team building, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- General knowledge of Georgia law and employment/labor law
