Jenner & Block's Antitrust practice is seeking a talented and committed junior to mid-level Antitrust associate to join their dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex matters, including defending clients in antitrust class actions, representing plaintiffs and defendants in antitrust lawsuits, and counseling clients on antitrust compliance issues.
Responsibilities include legal research and writing, client counseling, drafting pleadings and briefs, preparing for and attending witness interviews and depositions, and handling case management responsibilities.
Qualifications for this position include a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, 3-5 years of antitrust litigation and investigation experience, completion of at least one antitrust course in law school, and strong academic credentials. Additional desired experience includes an undergraduate Economics major and experience at the FTC, DOJ, or state attorney general. The ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment is essential, as well as a strong commitment to pro bono representation.
The starting base salary for this position is expected to be $260,000 - $365,000 annually, with the actual salary determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
