Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist a variety of attorneys during the entire litigation process, subject to the supervision of the attorney responsible for the matter. Responsibilities include supporting all facets of discovery; trial and appellate preparation; court filings; document management and production (including obtaining and summarizing medical records); and exhibit preparation. Should have a Bachelor's degree plus a paralegal certificate. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Should have 5+ years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Kofax/Nuance, iManage, and Lexis Nexis. Knowledge of the local court systems is a must with a strong preference for knowledge of the state and federal courts. Knowledge of billable hours and billing software. Knowledge of medical terminology.
