Associate Attorney The candidate will interact with courts, consumers and clients; extensive discovery and motion practice; review and execution of legal documents at all stages of litigation; and various courtroom appearances including motion hearings and trials. Pre-trial work from Motions and all Trial preparation in between. Drafting and responding to all legal documents, meet and confers, etc. (ex. Discovery, motions). Handle cases with limited supervision. Keep track of calendar/tasks. Meet deadlines. Client and attorney communications. Management of report and client information in case management system. Comply with all legal standards and regulations, specifically the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Should have 2+ years experience. Civil Litigation experience is required. Collections experience is preferred. Federal admission and experience is a plus. Experience attending hearings is required. Experience with responding to discovery requests is required. Bar Licensed in CA is required.
