**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a leading law firm in core industries, is seeking a US Patent Prosecution Specialist to join our team in any of our office locations – BOS, CH, DC, LA, NY, or SF. As a non-exempt employee, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and help us build a culture that reflects our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In this role, you will provide administrative support to assigned clients in patent prosecution, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures implemented by the client and firm.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file documents at the USPTO, including applications, amendments, responses to notices, petitions, and more.
• Prepare patent documents for client execution and file at the USPTO.
• Correspond with clients and provide status updates.
• Manage departmental deadlines and personal docket.
• Monitor and update workflows for assigned clients.
• Enter time and billing descriptions for completed tasks.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of current . prosecution and . Patent laws and rules preferred.
• Strong sense of accountability and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proven problem-solving skills and good judgment under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, and timekeepers.
• Minimum four-year college degree or related work experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in patent prosecution.
