We are currently hiring for staff attorney and managing attorney positions across our 68-county service area, including in border cities and rural areas where the demand for legal services is greatest. As a TRLA attorney, you will have the opportunity to defend the vulnerable, serve the community, and take on tough fights against deceptive and unscrupulous practices.

Compensation & Benefits
As a licensed attorney at TRLA, you can expect to earn between $64,355 and $87,565+ per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package including law school loan repayment assistance, generous paid leave, healthcare insurance, retirement plans, and more. We also provide stipends for training and travel, as well as incentives for Spanish language proficiency.
Qualifications
To be considered for a position at TRLA, you must be licensed to practice law in Texas, able to waive in, or pass the next available bar exam. We prefer applicants who have demonstrated interest in providing justice to those who need it most, have strong academic credentials, are fluent in Spanish, and are interested in living and working in areas of greatest need.
