Position: Senior Counsel for Cencora in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and Trenton, New Jersey
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary:

Cencora is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our legal team. This individual will be responsible for providing effective legal services and strategic counsel on significant business or corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-8 years of experience as a lawyer with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice, such as litigation, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, or employment and labor law. The Senior Counsel will report to the General Counsel and will work closely with various client groups within the company.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver effective legal services to clients
- Manage legal projects, matters, and issues with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate project management skills and take on mixed legal and business responsibilities
- Represent Cencora and relevant client groups on business contracts and other matters
- Make business-oriented and legally compliant recommendations to clients
- Solve problems, analyze solutions, and make decisions using standard procedures
- Juggle multiple matters and prioritize tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Adapt to change and shift gears comfortably
- Seek out and accept developmental opportunities

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience as a lawyer
- Expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice
- Law degree from an accredited law school and admitted to the state bar
- Comparable to a senior associate or counsel in a law firm
- Ability to work independently and supervise other legal professionals
- Familiar with legal concepts, practices, and procedures
- Working knowledge of corporate law, SEC regulations, litigation, and contract negotiation
- Comfortable supervising outside lawyers engaged by Cencora
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Excellent judgment and ability to resolve complex issues
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Organized with attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
