Law Clerk Opportunities for Spring Term

This program provides an immersive and valuable experience for students interested in administrative law and government oversight and accountability.

- Term: Spring
- Minimum Hours: 16

- Program Begins/Ends: January-May
Roles and Responsibilities:
As a law clerk at OSC, your duties will depend on the assigned Program Office. You may be placed in one of the following offices based on your skill set, past work experience, and interest:
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Unit: Conducts mediation for selected PPP and Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Act cases, as well as serves as experts in negotiation, communication, and settlement. You will be involved in all stages of mediation, from determining suitability to assisting OSC neutrals during the process.
- Other Program Offices: Responsibilities will vary based on the office's function and your skills and interests.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this program, you must have taken a mediation course or have equivalent experience. Additionally, we are looking for motivated law students who are interested in pursuing a career in administrative law or government oversight and accountability.
