Position: Family Law Legal Information Facilitator

Location: Southern Nevada

Salary: $39,, yearly (dependent upon experience)

Experience: Previous Family Law experience and familiarity with District Court procedures preferred. Paralegal or legal experience also preferred.

The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a dynamic and progressive non-profit law firm, is seeking a full-time Family Law Legal Information Facilitator to provide legal information to the public at the Family Law Self-Help Center located inside the courthouse. Under the supervision of a lawyer, the facilitator will provide information regarding general family law court procedures and form completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping low-income and vulnerable individuals in our community and has a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal information to the public at the Family Law Self-Help Center
- Assist individuals with understanding family law court procedures and completing necessary forms
- Collaborate with a team of caring individuals to provide the best possible services to clients
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on legal procedures and policies

Qualifications:

- Previous Family Law experience and familiarity with District Court procedures preferred
- Paralegal or legal experience also preferred
- Excellent communication and public interaction skills
- Empathetic and patient with individuals facing legal issues
- Bilingual with English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Salary and Benefits:

- Starting salary range of $39,, yearly (dependent upon experience)
- Annual increases available
