Barnes & Thornburg, a leading law firm, is seeking a Patent Agent with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work in our Patent Prosecution department.

As a Patent Agent at our firm, you will be responsible for preparing and prosecuting patent applications. This role requires a strong understanding of patent law and filing procedures. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated excellent academic achievement, possesses good character, and has a proactive and collaborative approach to work.

In order to be considered for this position, you must be registered to practice with the . Patent and Trademark Office. A Master's degree or . in a chemical or pharmaceutical-related science is highly preferred, however, we will also consider candidates with a Bachelor's degree and substantial experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Fluency in the language of organic chemistry is a must for this role.
