Dinsmore, a highly regarded national law firm with a presence in 30 cities and over 750 attorneys, is seeking qualified labor and employment associates in multiple locations. The firm is currently looking for candidates with 2-5 years of experience in labor and employment law. This is a great opportunity for attorneys looking to join a reputable firm and work with regional and national clients of all sizes.
Responsibilities:
- Defending clients in litigation cases related to employment matters
- Providing guidance to employers on state and federal employment laws compliance
- Handling cases involving FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage laws
- Preferred experience in traditional labor law, including NLRB issues, collective bargaining, and grievance/arbitration
- Experience in taking depositions, arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial
Requirements:
- Strong academic background
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Licensed to practice in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia
- Out of state candidates must be willing to sit for the bar exam or eligible for admission in one of the listed states
