Job Title: Tax Manager - Investment Management - Private Wealth (East Region City Locations)
Experience: 5+ years of public accounting experience (at least 3 years in investment management)
Salary Range: $84,980 to $193,440 (may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and location)

- Leader and strategic thinker with extensive knowledge in multiple areas of taxation
- Responsible for delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns

What You’ll Do:
- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers
- Prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and consulting projects
- Train, mentor, and supervise Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors
- Take on lead client-contact roles and billing and profitability analysis on engagements
- Involved in marketplace eminence building and pursuits
The Team:
- Specializes in the needs of the ultra-affluent, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners
- Provides comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice
- Helps clients make more informed, strategic decisions relevant to their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (in-person and remote)
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for work
- 5+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 3 years in investment management
- Accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents
- Project management experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent research and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
