Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience preferred
Experience in personal injury and/or workers' compensation preferred
Experience working in a team environment required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide legal services under the supervision of an attorney
Communicate frequently with clients to serve them adequately
Conduct necessary case research to aid in legal proceedings
Organize and maintain client files
Assist with preparing legal documents and demand packages
Review documentation for workers' compensation hearings
Communicate case status with insurance adjusters and clients
Negotiate billing/lien reductions
Close out cases and prepare distribution sheets

Salary Information:

The salary for this position starts at $50,000 per year, with the potential for bonuses based on performance.
